Welcome to the obligatory first post. Let’s dive into this fresh Learn Explore Adore adventure!

In truth, it’ll take a few days (or weeks… let’s hope it doesn’t take months) before real posts start appearing here; before the site looks the way it looks in my head. In the meantime, this post will serve as a placeholder and a promise that our future content will be worth exploring.

Our homeschool adventures have been fumbling as we’ve struggled to find what works best for our family. Now, deep into 2017, we’re ready to start a new chapter and to share our adventures!

What is this blog, anyway?

Our family is currently considering everything required to add road schooling to our lives. As with every other aspect of homeschooling, this would have to be modified to fit our family.

We’re not in a position to sell our home or buy an RV. Our youngest has a hard time with road trips over 5 hours. My husband’s job isn’t one that we can take on the road and his income is our only real income right now. While changing jobs would be an option at a different point in our lives, Abe has attained too many hard earned certifications in his current field for that to be responsible. The good news is that we have a wonderful van and many helpful friends. We’ll make some version of road school work because our hearts know our children need this. Maybe it’ll be on the weekends. Perhaps we’ll have to find a few sponsors. We’ll grow our own following and listen to the advice given until we find our perfect path. I believe that we will succeed.

Welcome to the adventure.

We’re glad you’re here.

Til next time,

Candace

P.S. Now that I’m thinking about it, if any of you reading this happen to be interested in becoming sponsors, please email me at Candace@LearnExploreAdore.com – We’ll work something out.
